Default Let me Reintroduce myself

Hi all!

I joined last year while I was deployed trying to gain info on Gas Chevy truck performance. Did some research and found out a lot of info.

I had a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic CCSB 4x4 LBZ Duramax with a built trans and stock turbo with a batmowheel, stock injectors, stock cp3 and bolt ons putting down 556 rwhp/ 1102 rwtq. Backed up with a 12.63 @ 105 weighing 6900 lbs on 20's. It was dropped with a 3/5 kit as well.

Moving forward now, I sold the truck the 14th to a guy that lives in New Hampshire and he is totally happy with it. The 17th I bought a 2007.5 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab LTZ Z71 4x4 Vortec Max. The truck is bone stock with all the options. I got it out the door for $20,500. Yes it may seem like a lot. The kicker here is I also got a 2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000 included in the deal free and clear. So I bought the truck and got a bike free.

I have a EFI v2 that had to be sent to them to be fixed but as soon as it gets back I am going to have it tuned and shut off the displacement on demand. I am putting the exhaust on in the morning, tint the windows here soon, leveling the front end and getting a lifetime alignment. Then will be getting HIDs, debadging the truck, getting some minor paint spots fixed, hopefully swapping my Z71 18's for some factory 20's.

I also am looking into either building the 4L70E, replacing with a 4L80E or swapping in a 6L90E. This truck is a daily driver with the occasional need to punch the pedal. I noticed the trucks factory tune has a bit of torque management in it until 4,000 rpm to help save the transmission. Later on with the truck I will be replacing to cam and necessary components so the DOD is non existent and also doing long tube headers, exhaust, intake, and whatever I decide to do with the trans. Gonna keep the L76 as basic as I can.

I know...
that will have to wait until tomorrow when its not dark outside...

Updates: Tinted the windows, plasti dipped the front end and rear bumper caps, swapped out the muffler for a dynomax bullet dumped over the axle, rough country 2" leveling kit, LT295/70R18 Terra Grapplers, DDM HIDs.

Waiting on my EFI V2 to tune it. Have MSD wires and NGK55 plugs coming from Scroggin-Dickey Parts. Thinking about ordering long tubes for it and a S&B intake and calling it good for a while. Any suggestions for long tubes or another type of intake?
