i have an 06 silverado ls 5.3 ,im wanting to put lot of power in,but i want more the the mass air flow n k&n is possible of make more then 400 hp in it? and how much horsepower does an stock 5.3 have?? thank

With cam and bolt on you could see 350ish But 400hp out of a 5.3 will take a lot of work unless you go FI.

Still tough, you got to go extreme and give up some drivability to make 400 hp NA, you can add a charger and lay down 500 and maintain a good driving truck, but they cost money.

i would to have 450 and a 200 shot...but i dont wana go in to the bottom-end of the 5.3,how much does an good tune give you??

It depends on what all you have when you go get the tune. If your planning on spraying a 200 shot thats gonna take a good bit of tuning and wont allow you to get the max potential E.TS when running N/A. Buckshot00 is running 7.4s with a 5.3 on a 200 shot and 8.95 I believe N/A. Just as a reference. Look for him in the southern section and check out his setup.

There are about 6 different versions of the 5.3, ranging from 285 to 325hp depending on the year.
