Hello from the cornfield aka Indiana

Hello Y'all!
My name is Matt and I have been lurking on here for some time, so I figure I create a account.
From Indiana in the middle of nowhere.
I am currently building a 97 Chevy 2500 drag truck/fun truck. It needs work but that's the point of this project for me, to learn. I am fairly mechanical but nobody has shown me how to rebuild the engine or transmission, just basic maintenance. So I bought a cheap truck to play with and learn.
Currently, the truck has been gutted on the inside and now I am working on the wiring. I've done basic things as MSD Wires, new plugs, and new MSD cap/rotor. Got the truck running good so again, my current focus is electrical. Cleaning up the un-needed wiring components and make it simple to understand when a issue arises for troubleshooting.
Goal is to learn everything I can and to have a fun truck to take down the stripe, to know I built it with my own two hands.
Thanks for reading and I look forward I meeting some of you.
