13.3 feathering the throttle! thats what im talking about... $1000 for 3"... hell no... can i get 2" or so out of just tightening the torsion bars and getting a new alignment? just want to be rid of that rake since i wont be lifting it for a long time. can anyone chime in to say how much power id need to run a 14 flat? if i can get to 14.0 with the 5.3 ill be happy until i can swap the shorty for a 6.0

this is probably a stupid question, but will a throttle body spacer give me anything? gas mileage increase? i found one for 30$ was wondering if it was worth the money and time to put it on(ill do it myself at work lol)

while i have some attention, my rear brakes are hanging up on me almost regularly, changed the pads every 6 months for 2 years now and i lubed the pins real good... is this a common problem? if theres a thread about it, i havent found it, if someone could direct me thatd be great... just did the "stealth antenna mod" while i was sitting here at work lol had some free time. i like it alot. now to get that escalade cowl piece... i havent found directions to make all my lights come on while in HIGH beam mode for an '02 is there a free/cheap way to do it or do i have to buy the $40 kit?
seriously contemplating heads/cam for the 5.3L anyone make recomendations to get me in the 14s? is there anyone running 14s with a mild 5.3, stock stall and (3.73)gears? is an LQ9 intake and throttle body an upgrade from the 5.3 ? and (dam i just realized theres like 7 questions here lol) whats code for my '02 5.3L "LM7"? just tired of typing "5.3L" lol its like i got a stroked mustang or something

You can buy aftermarket lift keys or use the keys out of a Ford F150 to raise the front of your truck about 2 inches. Then get longer shocks and an alignment.
Hitting a 14.0 with a 5.3 and stock stall in your truck will be tough to do, due to it's size/weight. Do any weight reduction you can, get a set of short slicks/drag radials(26" tall), run in 2wd to prevent drivetrain losses, get a good tune, long tube headers, mild camshaft, maybe e-fans and u/d pulley, make your own CAI, etc... That should get you close to 14.0 and if it doesn't, just pick a cheap N2O kit and spray your way there or faster, lol.
Throttle body spacers don't do crap on a dry intake system.
I think grounding the yellow low beam wire will give you the "4HI mod", I haven't tried it yet though.

thanks beatdown! you answered everyone of my questions and that is very rare, as i ask alot of questions. i usually ditch the tailgate and the spare tire... everything out of the cab... dicth the rear seat at the track... maybe ill ditch the pass seat at the track too its pretty easy to get them out if i bring the right size sockets and a ratchet, have to get some 26"ers... def gonna do the Efans asap, got the catback on the way, next is headers, im having trouble picking a cam i was gonna get an LS6 cam do to they are cheap and i dont HAVE to do a converter swap but i dont think it will be enough, so maybe ill fiond one in the classifieds... gonna do it 1 piece at a time anyway, after the headers ill be looking for a cam... was thinking of swapping the heads out for some 243s also so probably just accumulate the parts then swap all at once, but the exhaust and headers are going on asap, and im looking for the fans for cheap right now... def dont mind using N2o, but where to mount the bottle??? in the cab?? never had a truck with n2o before lol thanks again im gonna look for those F150 keys any idea what years?
