Maybe already answered but are the 243 already been gone through? Your gonna probably have to change pushrods with whatever set up you go with.

No I'm taking them off a 5.3 with 170000 km on it, and thanks on the push rods, didn't think about that. Now I'll have to search how to messier for the push rods.

They make a tool specifically for measuring. They'll have to be changed regardless once you do a cam. I'm running 7.425 with my cam.
