Whats up everyone? I'm new to this site. I have a 2000 silverado with the 5.3 bone stock except a flowmaster. I am looking for some go fast modifications... any suggestions? other mods i have to truck are: bagged on 22s, hd hood, fully shaved tailgate, welded in roll pan, shaved steak pockets, bed cover, custom spray in bed linner and tubbed bed. custom tribal two tone paint and painted interior and engine bay... just to name a few. My main goal now is the engine. I want a fast truck, cuz all the other mods i've done have added alot of weight to the truck, about 800-1000 extra weight. i'm from the Houston, Beaumont TX area.

I would like to have a good solid 14 sec truck, without breaking my wallet. The engine is stock with a 40 series flowmaster si/so turndown.

that will be easy to achieve. CAI, Full exhaust, Lts, Tune. Thats about a low to mid 14 sec truck. cost about $1200.

thanx guys, but im kinda new to the whole abreviation thing. What is CAI and Lts mean? what would be a good full exhaust system? i dont want to have an ugly exhaust tip hangin out on my truck... i need everything to be hidden underneth the truck, but it also cant hit the groung when i bag out. I was thinkin about some pacesetter headers, aem bruteforce intake, wheatley tune or blackbear performance. I would really like to get a sts turbo kit, but i dont think it work on a bagged truck, because of clearance issues, plus it cost a small fortune. i would also like a cam and heads, but i drive this truck daily.
