Default Back to LSx platform

Hi guys,

Owned a few F-bodies, nothing ever more than full bolt on except an LT1 based care. Have an LM7 and 243 heads I am putting into either a GMC Jimmy or an '88 Silverado, not sure which, neither have a drivetrain in them already hah. Anyway, looking for some help and hoping this is a solid resource! Thank you guys and gals

Jeff C.

You'll come to like the LS platform with it's skirted blocks and superior gasket sealing advances. Much better than the GEN 1 & 2 engines that came before it.

Ahh like those two, but im looking at 2nd gen gen ones mainly 98-03 so they only weigh 3300/3400 lbs.

Thank you for the warm welcome guys! Ive owned a few z28's in my lifetime and a few 5.3L powered silverados - love the engines, but never got into H/C/I setups on them and now is the chance!
