Default Another new guy from Kentucky

Well I guess this is as good a place as any to say hi. Can't wait to start the mods to my new to me 2003 Silverado! She has the 5.3 and is bone stock for now. Seems to run real nice and quiet...too quiet. Where should a newby start with one of these trucks? Do they respond well to airbox mods? How about exhaust? Maybe a tune? Shift kit? Don't know where I wil go with the tune down the road, maybe a turbo???
I guess I should mention that the truck is showing about 165000 miles and was apparently cared for pretty well as it was owned by an old fellow that never hauled anything...it's real clean and I'm sure hasn't been flogged to hard.
Oil looks nice and clean, tranny fluid on the dip stick smells ok but not new, don't know about the diferential just yet.
Give me a list, I won't be able to leave it alone! Thanks for any advice you may have!

Thanks Aaron, glad to be here! Your truck looks great, how would I go about lowering mine to look like yours?

Welcome to the forum. If I were you, the first thing I would do would be exhaust. Not a real truck if you can't hear it! Lol. If you want any exhaust work done, message me. I've gone through several different exhaust systems trying to find the right sound for me, so I can probably lead you in the right direction for what you want.

Also if you're wanting to lower your truck, I have some front drop spindles for sale. Belltech 3" drop. Let me know
