im new here! i have a 2008 silverado 4.8 k&n intake hypertech max energy programer! can anyone tell me why i cant get the tires to break loose?

 

Torque management. Also, what gears you have, if you have some 3.23s with the 4.8 it may be tough, and combine that with torque management and you will have a hard time to do it. Later when you add more mods you will be trying to get it not to break loose.

 

Welcome, ya tq management.. Need a custom tune to get rid of it...

Not to burst your bubble, but they are .. A new pcm is the only way to wake it up

Good price, but sell it on ebay or something and use that money to get a custom tune done. Do a search here and you will find the different tuners, as well as look to the right of the screen and a couple are sponsors.
