I Have A 2001 Tahoe, I Would Like To Put My 572 Bb With 400 Trans Out Of 4/4 Blazer Into My Tahoe And I Wandered If Any Body Has Already Attempted This Conversion, I've Already Replaced Axles And Ring & Pinions And Upgraded Suspension. Thanks Chevy Rat

 

I use a 4L80E which is basicly a TH400 with electronic operation and a overdrive.I had to modify the original crossmember,basicly cut out the center section added a steel plate across the open ends and rewielded the center section about 7" back.Removing the center section gave clearance for the larger pan and the trans mount was located further to the rear of the transmission.
