if im gonna do the zo6 cam (part #12565308) will i need to change the push rod length? and i already have the yellow springs will i need retainers and locks? or will the factory ones be good. bought a spare set of 5.3 heads that are going to get the ported treatment.

Oh man speaking of ram hemi's, I got beside one in my tahoe and he patted on me around 30mph and I thought to myself agh crap im gonna get out ran by this friggin thing cause its lighter and has 345 compared to whatever I have. But we kicked it around 35-40mph and for some reason his front bumper was right behind my back doors when I changed to 2nd which is like 57mph in my truck. Now how the crap did that happen or are those things that slow. I tell ya what the best thing I done was get the pcm4less ecu w/ the transgo shift kit.

no 86 corvette heads will not fit, they are not a LSx head, only heads off of the LSx style motors will fit, they debuted in 97 on the vettes

i have finally decided on the cam and heads im using. im going small and installing the 02 ls6 z06 cam with ported and polished 5.3 heads and the valve train. i want to know if i would need a stall converter. and if so what do you guys recommend.
