Default 13 Years with my truck new to the forums

I have a 2002 Silverado 4.8 ECSB that I bought brand new in October of 2001. I have about 140000 miles on it now. Just started doing some stuff to it the past couple of months. Lowered it with the Hotchkis 2/4 leaf springs and front coils and added the Belltech street performance shocks. I had the roof resprayed in September along with color matching the escalade door handles and mirror covers. Just installed the street scene grill with billet insert today but realized that my bow tie emblem is a little small for it. Hoping to upgrade the wheels real soon but trying to get some ideas for it. I also replaced the stock speakers with the Kicker KSC series 6.5 and 4x6. So much I want to do to it now. Once you start you can't stop.

I need to get some new tires for the wheels. Undecided on 265/50 or 285/50

What was the ball park price for the roof re-spray??

I got some rock chips that started to bubble with rust on my roof, going to hopefully get that fixed this summer. I have a white truck, so I know prices on different kinds of paints and our locations will makes things differ.

I can't remember what it was for the roof only. I was charged a package price that had the mirror caps,, front emblem, handles and roof painted along with the removal of about 6 or 7 dents on the bed and doors.. Close to 1100. They warrantied the work and paint for as long as I owned the truck. Very happy with the outcome and even though the truck was bought in 2001 the paint match was dead on.

265/50s for sure, the 285s will be pretty big with the drop. Here's my old truck with a 2/3 drop and 265/50R20 General UHPs. No rubbing or issues. Truck looks great, always better to spend some money redoing and improving than to spend $50k on a new one and still have to change stuff.

Ah okay, thats sounds like a great deal to me for what you got done. I'll be shopping around later this year.
