Hi I'm new to the forums and was wondering what all you guys have done to these trucks. Current mods are:
150 shot of nitrous
Straight pipe
Cai
Tune
305/50r20 20x12
14.1 1/4 mile time

 

Hey man, welcome to the site. What was your MPH on the 14.1?? About the same as my truck but all motor no nitrous.... YET. Everyone is different. Turbos, Blowers, nitrous, to each his own. Take your time and look around. Please read the stickies and do a search before asking the same question thats been beat on 1000 times. This will get you further.. Any pics??

 

I'll have to look when I get back home at the time slip. It was around 102-105 if I'm not mistaken. Also the tune wasn't a nitrous tune I was just running it on retarded timing and colder plugs. It won't let me upload pics for some reason. It keeps shutting my browser down...

 

Pics are to big.. They have a size limit.. cut em down then retry. That time sounds about right. My best time is 13.9's @ 101 with no traction and still in second gear thru the traps. So when I get my traction issues cleared up then 300 shot here I come!...lol

List your mods man if you dont mind.

 

My stock trans took a **** at 150 lol. I put a raybestos blue plate level 3 kit in from tru tech trans. And all that's done is the cai 150 shot and a tune. That's its lol it's 2wd

 

I have a 94 step side at home that my dad gave me when I was 16 that was his first truck that I really need to be putting a bigger motor in. It's got a 350 4 bolt in it but I'd like to put a 383 in it and repaint it

Some lighter wheels and smaller tires and that thing would rip even better.

 

I took a 350ci high nickle block and a 400ci crank to make a 383 that I put in a 79 K-5 Blazer.. That thing was a beast!
