Default 06 CCSB 5.3 on 24x12s 14.426 1/4mile. Any thoughts?

Anyone on here in Florida? Trying to get this big beast in the 13s. While it's still N/A. Only have 30,xxx miles on this new engine.

Remove those stupid heavy tires that are slowing you down.

Or add another 50-75hp.

Default Changed shoes.

I have changed from the mud grips to street tires. 30lbs difference in each tire. Going to run a 100kit Saturday may stick the 125 in just to see if these tires can hold.

I dropped .4 in quarter when I took my 20” wheels off and only ran my 16” wheels 14.0 to 13.599 in my cammed 5.3

Dang man. That's pretty much a half second anyway you look at it. I bet I'd get at least .5 taking these heavy s.o.b's off. Are your rc, ec, or cc?

That's only about an hour from me. How often do you go? I'd like to go get a few runs in before I swap the 4.8 for my new 6.0.

We run just about ever weekend. Either Friday midnight madness or Saturday test and tune. Goin tonight for test and tune at 5pm. Check out there website for event dates. (gainsvilleraceway.com)

The 24x12s aren’t helping in the weight department no matter what tire you run.

My wife and I used to live in G’Ville about 14-16yrs ago.
