ZR1 Powered Silverado Truck

Very valid point but for the cost of the crate you could build two motors I bet. Every one has there goals and ideas of a perfect set up. For this person with a lot of money it was easier to say bolt in this known/proven factory motor. Sounds good to me but on my budget I must stick to building it part by part.

True, but I just copied the Youtube title, señor
Auto box, transfer case, stock tires/wheels...plenty of stuff to turn that eats up power, even though it looks like an 8 or 10 rib setup and appeared to hit 10# on the street run.
I think it's very cool, and I'd like to know what all went into getting it to fit. I could have sworn the LS9 had a dry sump and from what I remember reading in a recent GMHTP mag where they did a piece on what all it took to get one of those into a 5th gen camaro, it wasn't all that easy.

Looks like factory 8 rib to me.

They're coming down in price cause they were about $25K when the ZR1 first came out. Anything OEM costs some coin, I think the LSA and 5.4L GT500 engine are both around $14K.
Cheaper ways of doing the same thing but if it was just a vid of a truck with a maggie on it, it wouldn't seem as cool to me. Something about OEM conversions and swaps [that work!] that is just really fun to see.
