Looks like Nissan will be releasing a V-Spec model in 09' also...supposedly more motor and much lighter..
For now it's GTR vs. Z06....in a bit there will be GTR V-Spec vs. ZR-1...

I don't like the fact that most of the car is operated by the computer. wth is the driver even for? The more stuff they have relying on the pcm the more problems they'll likely run into.
But hey, look at the Enzo, Race mode stiffens the suspension, lowers the car a touch, and changes your shiftpoints.

Wow, good info Mark!!
That NAGTROC forum sure had a good thread on it's gearing advantages!! I'm impressed by it alot, not saying I would ever own one because I think there are other cars out there that I'd rather have for 70K but Nissan sure has done a great job with this thing. Credit needs to be give here regardless of where your brand loyalty lies.

I don't know what it is about this side of the site compared to the other side but I agree with all of you. It's a great car...but not for me based on it's looks but credit needs to be given where it's due and it is a phenomenal car. I don't understand what's going on with everyone else on the tech side of things. I actually got in a few rifts over there with some people who took it upon themselves to call this car a POS. I've since abandoned my attempts to enlighten some of our brethren but if you guys are bored you might enjoy a little "light reading"
PS don't worry, I apologized to the guy I came down hard on in the Dyno thread...were all good now.

Oh yeah? Well, we all are entitled to our bad days now and then and I know for a fact, after reading your posts for so long, that you arent the type of person to jump down someone's throat for nothing..... but ya' gotta' admit....he had it comin'.
