Default UWP Formula SAE Racecar

first time with a video camera, borrowing it

this is why my truck is slow, my money and time gets dropped into this beast.
This was our FIRST drive, thats why we are going so slow, he prob only got into 2nd gear(of six) also it was raining and cold(45 degress F), and we were on racing slicks

Specs:-Honda CBR 600 F2 Motorcycle engine, stock 6 speed sequential gearbox
-Custom Fuel Injection (Megasquirt, same as Parish runs)
-Custom Air intake, tuned runners, tuned intake volume, Runs thru a 20mm restirctor per rules
-Custom tuned tri-y exhaust
-Independent front and rear suspension
-Limited slip differential, custom cv axles
-4130 Chromoly Spaceframe, also build from scratch
-Manual paddle shifter(behind steering wheel)
-4 wheel disk brakes
-Hooser Racing Slicks

As the day went on we got it tuned better, unfortunately the camera died, when I was driving I had it up to 4th gear and it was insane, Inovate wide band is in the mail, little more tuning then our competition against 140 other colleges from around the WORLD this wednesday.
Many more pictures and video to come, check back

Looks good. I spent about 3 years on Oklahoma State's team. Definitely a worthwhile project. Best education I ever got.

we finished the event, got thru the 22km endurance run, pushing 250+ degree coolant temps most of it (radiator cap never did open????) and no oil pressure on the hard turns.... but we finished and that is worth a lot of points. I will have more video of the competition and results when they become available.
many top 10 teams blew up engines or got pulled for oil leaks, so we are def proud of our accomplishment
