Default Dynojet SAE correction..

Does anyone know exactly how the SAE correction factors work? I have two dyno sheets I am tring to compare. One has a correction factor of .96 and the other 1.04. Are the base numbers multiplied by this factor to get corrected numbers or is it the other way around.

I always thought you divided each number by .82 for autos, .88 for manual. Hence my 261/271 at the wheels would be 318/330 at the crank. But since you are asking for SAE correction, I don't know. I was thinking rw to crank conversion.
