I don't plan on taking any weight out of the truck, just making some more track passes. 9.27 was just the 3rd pass down the track on the new setup. The tune was very conservative, just trying to get it down the track a couple of times. 8s should not be a problem at all if the rearend will hold together for more than 3 passes this time. We are going to hit the track again next week and work on tuning it in.
