We're putting together our annual Michigan Muscle video with all of our footage from the year and I thought I'd take the Escalade out and get some footage.. here's a sample of what we got.

NOTE: Even though it looks like a residential street because of the mailboxes, it is an industrial road that had virtually no traffic on the weekends.

Looks and sounds great! Any dyno and E.T. numbers yet?

 

No Dyno numbers... it was tuned on the street.

Best ET - 12.88; Best MPH - 109. The truck weighed 6,055 with a half tank of gas and no driver.

We had a friendly grudge match setup against a ProCharged Escalade. Both trucks were full weight (on 24's and full of stereo equipment). As you'll see, I was sleeping at the tree and he got me off the line pretty bad. I launched at 3 lbs. and at the 53 second mark in the video you will see the truck torque steer to the right and I let out and get back in it. You'll also hear the stock trans not liking the added power at the 59 second mark, once again I let out for a moment so it would shift and got back in it.
