That truck moves up high. That cam would probably be real good with shift points at 6800rpm if it isn't at that already. Hows down low? What cam did you have before? Stock heads?

Right now the shift points are set to 6600 with tow haul on, but for some reason it is shifting at 6500.

The down low (part throttle/OD on highway) is fine with this cam. It still has plenty of power to accelerate up hills on the highway in OD.

My old cam was 216/220 .525 .532 114lsa, and yes still stock heads (for now).

Right on, good luck at the track. That's a big difference in cams alone over what sounds like an xr269. Much more agressive ramp rates to fill those cylinders. You running 918's?

It was an xr269

And I'm running similar springs, PAC 1218s i believe.

from the way it look to be running (hard to tell from just seeing a 60 roll) but I can see with a good launch and a dialed in tune, going into the 12's in the 1/4.
what kinda 60's do you pull usually, and on what, slick?
