A posi, tires, a Z06 cam and a bit more practice would help you out alot. KBRacing went 12.7 with his sts kit on a 4.8 with a Z06 cam in an ecsb 4wd.

damn
thats great would i need new springs and pushrods or would the ones i bought before work ok? could i drive it daily if it had that cam?

It would be a much more driver friendly cam then the one you have now, you would barely notice it in there.

what size turbine housing is on the turbo? I hope its not the .81; this along with the long tubes is probably the main factor in not being able to spool the turbo.

I am sure STS would sell you one. Or you can get one from just about any turbo dealer. I personally would run a .68 housing with your 4.8, but I am not sure what others with this engine are running.

WOW, after reading how your set-up, you should shoot whoever told you to use that cam with LT's, that A/R on a manual?? Only thing that setup is good for is racing from like 80-160 mph.
