I ran consistent 15.7 in my 02 ECSB 5.3L with 3.73's, Corsa and K&N FIPK and those DTW guys were running 15.3's all day. The SRT10 and one other truck with a 100 shot of nitrous were in the high 13's or low 14's, IIRC. I always got them off the line and they always past me halfway through the run.

Were all the hemi's regular cabs? Did you weight your truck that night? They might have had a slight weight advantage on you.

Yes, they were RCSB's. What do you mean "weight my truck"? Do you mean putting sandbags over the axle or something? My truck weighs in around 5300lbs with a full tank which should make it around 5500lbs race weight that night.

EDIT- FWIW, I dyno'd my truck on a Mustang Dyno last year with about 90,000 miles on it and it came in at around 250hp/270-280tq. This was in Maryland and only a month or so after California.

so there's a few rcsb 2wd hemi's doing 14.8's and 14.9's? so basically stock vs. stock, we're looking at trucks that exactly the same?

i know when you get in the 4x4 and ex cab trucks and such, the hemi seems to be the horse, via torque and displacement.

can you get one of your boys from dtw or something to post up with a confirmed " under 15 second " stock pass? Joshluther ran a 14.9 bone stock, with 18" wheels on.

so i'm not talkign slicks or DR's, i want street tires, stock truck.

Keep in mind, this was my first time to ever go to a track, so I didn't know how to stage or anything.
hey sounds like me.. i also went to the track not knowing what to do and ran a 15.4 .. and i havent been back since soo therefore my time isnt really accurate then is it?
