I wish..... those trucks are about the best factory platform you can get right now to mod if you want comfy and fast, with all the options... or, you could go the other route and buy a new RCSB 5.3 truck and go from there
My next truck will be the reg cab stepside GMC you've seen at my house.

Its a 2003 LQ4 with a custom grind cam thats been in about 8 different motors LOL, oh yeah, its got a CAI haha
stock manifolds, cats, stock 60E with stock converter and I tuned it... I dont think thats doing much for the power though hahaha
The 13.5 pass was on an extremely rich 75 shot, he went 13.88 @ 100 just before that with the bottle closed spraying nothing but fuel LOL its probably got some 13.60's in it on motor just as it sits. I got in it right after the .56 pass and went a .46 with a 2.03 60' time on my 28" Hoosiers. for the extreme LACK of mods, that truck is running VERY well
he was also running with the back seat piled almost to the roof with junk, it had to be well over 5K

shouldnt be a problem. and if you break, I can guarantee we've got enough parts to get you back going. If that things already got some miles on it, breakin isnt needed. Give that fresh converter an afternoon of driving, and it'll be ready for passes. I'd make some runs and not think twice.

Iono i think nicks camry had the best time there, lmao
