Thats with the old cam still. Going to be building a new motor pretty soon that can handle alot more nitrous and I'll put the new cam in it..

This truck is like a fine wine and good woman. Just gettin better with age.

Tyler put this motor together about 4 years ago and now that it has a decent driveline in it, it makes more power every time we touch it.

After he made his passes at Amarillo a couple weeks ago, he was hooked again. It ran 11.42 @ 116mph with a relatively small and extra safe nitrous tuneup. After lots of talk, the magical 10 second pass was decided on to be the goal. Probably could have got there with the bigshot plate and some bigger jets, but distribution became a concern. So we come up with an NOS Crossbar that will just completely fog the intake LOL

The night started off good by gaining nearly 40rwhp over our last motor pull(better weather, little more timing, and removed those stupid cone inserts) 417rwhp

Time to turn on the bottle. .060 jet in the nitrous holes. First pull with a fresh bottle, VERY LOW TIMING; 661rwhp 608rw/tq

2nd pull. same nitrous and fuel jets, removed .5# of fuel pressure, added 2* of timing. Same bottle. 666rwhp 702ft/tq!

3rd pull. same nitrous and fuel jets, fresh bottle, same fuel pressure, added another 2* of timing...682rwhp 700ft/tq

Still really safe on timing. I think we could have probably made 700+ to the tires on these jets but didn't want to get greedy. Going to the track with it this saturday on some new tires and hoping for that elusive 10second pass.
