I'm not about to go door banging with a GT-500, or even a 03-04 termi, and I know at least four mustangs in my group turning low 11's high 10's, that get driving to and from work every day.....sometimes even to drop the kids off at school, I myself love my GM stuff, but I would love to get a GT500 or hell even a MACH ONE or best case 03-04 Cobra.

Yeah but I would put the Raptor up against 99% of the trucks on here at Glamis or in a off road race. The Raptor is awesome for what it is, a bone stock legit pre runner.

This thread made me chuckle..

You could spend half the money and build something that would out perform it in every aspect.

I always wondered what would happen when the 16 year old kid gets the keys to their dads new Raptor and decides to see how much airtime he can get with it. I doubted Ford would honor the warranty then and it looks like it's confirmed that they wont be.

It's just another status symbol.. just like the HD and King ranch etc....

Yeah I agree. The same can be said about anything. It's just that some people would rather just spend the money and have it from the dealership. I am one of this to an extent.

I don't knock those who buy high dollar toys, it's their money and business. I also am not one to bash a vehicle just because I am jealous that I can't not own one.

I hate to admit it but before I bought my 2011 GMC I looked at them a few times. I think they have some killer looks for a factory truck but I was having a hard time believing I could go rally this down some back trails and beat it to **** and then take it to Ford and they wouldn't question anything and fix it...

Plus they were pretty proud of that sticker price....

That sucks they don't stand behind the warranty and fix it.

I agree on the price, I would have a hard time justifying spending the money on it.
