New Best for me on truck day!
What can I say, Its just running like a rapped ape. Man I had a fun time today with the rest of the guys, wish I could have stuck around longer but I had to hit a cook out today. I think everyone had some of thier best runs yet, Brian (Breeze) hit 11's, Tim (BADMOFO) went 14.1, Dewy hit low low 12's (
), it was fun. They may have done better but I had to leave early. Cant wait to see some of the vids and pics from today. Here are my two best, one was against a Dodge Diesel and the other was against Tim (BADMOFO). The times were 13.75 @ 98mph.....and 13.54 @ 99mph respectively. This heavy bitch was rolling with the wind at my face. The 13.75 run was with a passenger....
I dont know how much more I can push it with 42's and a stock fuel pump, but we will find out....LOL

Hey, thanks fella's. As long as you sign the waiver, i think you can have as many as can safely ride in the vehicle. I really wanted to take 3 people down the track with me, but the other two didnt have helmets. I uploaded both videos to PT.net grippy, they should be ready to view by now. My best 60' today was 1.858, which is a new best as well.

not to bad, i only got 0.6* of knock @ 17* of timing. I was planning on bumping it to 18.5* but I had to get going. Man, i had no idea i was gonna make a run like that, i was just looking for a 13.7x run. Not even sure what to shoot for now? 13.4x's? That just sounds rediculous...LOL.
I got a chance to dump some ice in the reservoir and it pulled the IATs down about 15*, Im sure that helped a little. Without the ice it went to about 104* through the 1/4....with the ice it went to 89* through the 1/4. I didnt really give it enough time to cool the fluid off, about another 10 minutes would have been nice.

J/K, I thought it was cool how we got to line up against each other and how Dewey and Brian could too. It was MUCH more layed back then a regular test and tune night. That alone made it a much nicer day. I need about 30 more HP. If I had a better trans and could remove some T/M I think it might be enough. I need to have my tune looked at again anyway, but was waitin' until I did something else. I think I'm about modded out with this truck. That guy with the Duramax acted like he really had something, but it only went 15.50. Him and his buddy were lookin' under your hood wondering WTF...lol.
