My Ride
Yeah, I know this is predominantly a video section, but I was looking through my photobucket album, and ran across some pictures of my Black Beast as I call her. In the pictures, I spent about 6 hrs from washing/waxing/polishing the truck. Stupid me forgot the wheel wells along the way, but oh well.
She is a 1996 Chevrolet K1500 Z-71 RCSB on Disco STT mudders. 74,xxx miles, and I bought her with 36,800 miles on the clock. Guy before me bought the truck to get into off roading, but yet he wouldn't even drive the truck in the rain. It was a BEAUTY, and still is in my eyes. She's been used as an off road truck and hauled hay, but still cleans up VERY good.
Mods:
Pacesetter ceramic coated longtubes
2.5" true dual exhaust with 2 Cherrybomb Extreme Mufflers
AEM Bruteforce CAI
Ported/polished TB
Custom tuning from Ed Wright, but I need this updated, as the current tune is for 87 octane and for shorties. I'm thinking of goin to possibly a 93 octane tune.
I know with the longtubes, the performanc gain over shorties was INSANE! The truck will smoke the tires just hammering it off the line, and has ruined a few chipped powerjoke's days. I am probably attending SAM next year, and am going to start project LTX Killer. I love this truck to death, and will probably have her until the day I die.
Anyways, to the pics:
