mods on the lightning are ported eaton, lower pulley, NX 100 shot..thats all i could get out of the guy...race is an 1/8 mile...its a kings race for another site.. he also had MT slicks and they sprayed down some VHT on his side earlier

Yea that's exactly what I figured. I'm sure I'll try and catch a few of those races next year. I'll be up in Oklahoma for sure next year so I'll but up around those parts pretty often. Hopefully the truck will be done by then. I'm sure I"m gonna end up just doing full bolt ons and the nitrous kit. I'm too much of a ***** to do the turbo.

I figure if it was that close you should be able to really give him a damn good run with more traction as long as your *** end holds up... Looks like fun I wouldn't mind "watching" some of that since I don't think my truck is anywhere near worth competing..

 

I agree... I think the lightning only took him because of the VHT. Put that on both sides or none at all and things woulda been more interesting.
