Anybody have any idle clips, or any cam'd 4.8 vids. Found plenty of 5.3/ 6.0 vids but very few 4.8 sound clips. Trying to get some ideas together for a camswap...

 

not 100% sure but i always heard that the 5.3 and 4.8 sound the same. never really heard one right after the other.

 

i think the 4.8 is lopier... i built both trucks exhaust and they are both 2.5 true duals with 40 series flowmasters

yeah i think it is lopier.....i dont know but both sound damn good

 

dirt_track_racer_81---The video of the blue truck is the only cam'd 4.8 video I could find. I know there has got to be a few more out there somewhere, really looking for clips w/ cams 212/218 and smaller...

I have always heard that the 4.8's lope a little harder than 5.3's, just due to the lack of displacement.

01 thunder . . . now Z28 thunder had a 4.8 with a big cam

 

Daniel had a 224 in his 4.8 so Im sure that is well out of range of cam he is looking at
