Thankfully my parents taught me things happen for a reason. I was stung a little by being let go in Jan. but I have a great work history and have made a lot of connections in my field over the past 12 years. But what made me feel good(due to karma) and bad(being fucked over) is I was slated for a big promotion due to my commitment and dedication. The company wasn't/isn't hurting and I did nothing but all the right things(not kissing ***, just getting my job done and when needed going above and beyond). One idiot who was promoted about two years ago has an agenda and it is running the company into a strong downward spiral.

Thanks for the support. Big things are coming my way and once they all become solidified I just might do a little more showing off. I am two weeks away for everything becoming official.

 

That's why I stay away from small companies. I just don't see the room for advancement. That and their sensitivity to the economy. Good luck to you and your venture.

 

Not always true. My salary as service manager was at least median for my area. As a saleman I could easily have made 80+ in 2 years between an established customer base and adding only a few more. Also the company is financially sound.

Anyhow again things are great and only getting better by the day
