Jeez, I was just expressing an opinion and trying to help get results quicker on his set up not to initiate a slick vs DR debate. I'm glad I created an opportunity for you to get some nut swinging time bringing up that lightning though.

A turbo'd 408 should have no problem pushing that truck into the 9s.

I figured you had a long way to go with it but wasn't sure.

Trying to gage your 408 vs mine. I would guess NA you aren't making all that much power since your compression is for the boost? 400 ish or do you have a clue? How much HP is your current boost making(18-19 lbs I think)? Would that be around 250-350 hp? I think my truck on a good deal of nitrous should put up numbers close to what you are laying down right now. But trying to gage the power you are making to give me an idea if those goals are reasonable.
P.S. I know there are thousands of of other factors but hp is one that is measurable.

I'm running 15#'s of boost and by my calcuations I'm right around 800ish at the flywheel..... I can't give an educated guess on just motor, but it's not a slug na... Id say 18-19#'s would put me close to 1000 at the motor

Cool. I should be 800+ with 300 so mid 10s should be attainable.

Want to fund a nitrous fed build similar to yours? It will give you lots of data in case you choose nitrous to add power and cool your IATs!!! I think $2000 would do it and I will share all the data I get with you in return! hahah
