That really sucks man. I hate to see so many nice parts break cause of a simple problem like that.

Wow dogg, that just plain sucks ***.

Sorry that happened to ya, what a pain to basically have to pull the whole drive train to fix it!

First thing i would do is shove that drive shaft up the guys *** that made it.

Good luck in getting her back together.

Looks as if it was the driveshafts problem, angle was ok cause ive had many of runs on it even hard launches on the trans brake, hardest being a 1.6 60'....... It broke in third gear at like 126, i personally belive it hit critical speed for the material and thickness of the driveshaft and just wouldnt hold.... I got the ds from Jackson Powertrain so we will see what they do about it, id suspect a driveshaft rated at 1000 hp would have held not even getting over 5500 rpms in any gear.....The driveshaft was actually shipped to missisipi and checked for balance 2 times so....

Did they say what rpm it was balanced for? Third gear is 1 to 1 so whatever rpm your engine runs is what the drive shaft spins, iv had my truck to 7100 in third with the stock driveshaft under 600hp with no problems?? you must of just got a bad one.

call MadMan in Prairieville, La he builds tons of funny cars, street racers, and they are pushing way more HP/TQ than you. i dont even make close to your HP and if i have problems with my driveshaft im letting him get me one. he has someone else make them, but he's got cars in his shop running 8s all day long so the driveshafts have to be holding at 7,000rpm all day long. very nice guy, and he knows his shii, sorry to see this happen.

I don't know what the major design flaw is with these truck driveshafts, but I've seen so many of these stock and "built" blow up it's ridiculous.
