here are the questions I asked and the answers hammer helped me out with. Thanks again for being the guinea pig man.

Did you have to change driveshaft lengths. Sorry if its alot of questions but I want this swap instead of the 4L80e.
I used a guy at my works VIN # from his '09 GMC Vortec max 4x4 and got his wiring harness (part #- 20821966), TC input shaft 32 spline (part #-19132978) I cross referrenced the out put shaft part #'s and were the same! As for Dshaft length it was the same! The '07 Denali AWD tranny and my 4l70e was exactly the same length WITH the spacer to transfer case ( my stock one was 5 1/4" long and the 6l80 spacer was 3 1/4" long which made up for tranny measuring differences). I had to do the same wiring repinning as Keniff and had to get Geoff at EPS to change my ECM operating system to a '08 Denali so the TCM would read speed. Then got Truckshop to tune tranny! ( note: it did drive without tranny tune, it just shifted fast Tru gears)
thanks man, that's bad *** about the drive shafts and TC input. Nelsons says they can rewire my existing harness and handle the tuning. What about your crossmember and tranny lines? same a niffs thread?
No the crossmember fit as it did stock
And tranny line I decided to go with the adapter block from stock on tranny side to 6AN on line side and ran pushloc hose and fittings to the 30k cooler with an elec fan. BTW doing write up tomorrow!
These should be the most questions about a 4wd swap. Every other question can be answered in iamkeniff's thread.

Any questions or PMs should be directed at either hammer or niff. I haven't done the swap yet, just passing along info lol.

I have pics for all of the swap parts and like was said its basically Keniff's swap plus the transfer case and no crossmember mods or Dshaft swap! Also minus the headache!!!

I'm prolly gunna do the tu/td mod tho cause I need my tow haul to pull my 26ft fifth wheel and 42hp tractor. Will keep posted

thats the only thing I need figured out before I do the swap. I need to yank around my travel trailer, and would like to keep it in 4th or 5th gear while hauling it.

I pulled my camper with mine on Friday and it did fine but I would like it to hold 5-6 gear a little longer! All and all I'm VERY pleased with it!!!

Id want to be able to lock out 5th or 6th while towing my trailers too. MIleage is much better spinning a few rpm and not lugging the motor as much.

What all does it entail to get the tu/td selector to work?
