it wasnt quite a full dead stop flash though was it? the video shows the engine rev before the brake lights go out. looks like a bit of a brake stall.

The converter "flashes" to its full stall speed and then transfers all the tq at once. So when you see a TC stall advertised at 3000, that is the flash rpm. Usually you can't get a 3000 to brake stall over 2600 or so because the brakes cant hold the truck back.

So just nail it, lol.
Thanks Hoe! Makes sense. Knew what brake stalling was but not the terminalogy for smashing the pedal to the floor from a dead stop...but it's good to know the difference!

He also built my 6.0 in my project I haven't cranked it yet but im sure it's gonna be nasty just like all the other motors he builds
