Hey guys, i finally made it to the track this Sunday with some of my buddys..
I towed a 89 Camaro down there since he didnt want to drive on old tires.
Got down there and (Thanks to Ranwalk) stuck some 28" ET Streets on the truck.
First and second pass was a 13.3 @102 2.00 60'
Third was a 13.4@101 cause i didnt get all the water off the tires and it spun on the launch.. Newbie to all this Drag tire stuff..
Fourth was a 13.3@102 and i changed my shift points from 5400 to 5900 and added one degree of timing. no change so i backed it back down..
Bad thing is, the Cobra in this video broke the rear end on his third pass and i towed him home...

Here is the Camaro that i towed down there... its Skinnyman (his SN on here)
Its all stock with a tired 305/5speed 3.08/minispool and corvette rims that have slick tires on there.... ___ thats about how much tread they have on them..
He ran a 15.7,, didnt think that was too bad for a old car with a 305

Here is the Cobra again.....
Sorry for the bad video. my girlfriend got a lil excited and didnt look through the viewfinder the whole time..

All these dang Mustangs.. i dont know what their problem was.. ever time i get up to the line and look over... well what do ya know.. another Mustang
This one was a GT.. he even made his way through the staging lanes to get beside me....

Well Well Well... another lame Mustang.
Look at all that smoke.....

Atleast he is still in the picture at 60'

I got some more video on a DVD that Dockrocker gave me... now i got to figure out how to get it uploaded.....
Well im proud of my truck..

TT3000
Litreddevil Special 65E

Eaton LSD
28" ET Streets
Full street weight, spare tire, and i even left the hitch in the reciever....
They never knew till i got up there and cleaned the tires off.......
I couldnt leave in boost cause it would start pushing and over power the brakes..
Dockrocker got a good video of me in the burnout box... will be up sometime this week...
After towing the Camaro down there, Made 4 or 5 passes... i cant remember.. towed the Cobra all the way to Jackson from Hattiesburg and pullin the empty trailer home i averaged 10.6mpg and i wasnt being easy on the go fast pedal.. stayed in boost prob over half the time.. Never saw IATs 30* over ambient temp. So
