shortly after the 60e took died. no 3rd, barely goes into 4th and converter won't lock up. i knew it was coming just not this soon. oh well.

i really don't want to buy another converter. im gonna get a locally built one with a good warranty. After reading on the horror stories online i will never order a built trans from out of state. talk about a headache when it breaks.

which horror stories have you read? performabuilt or flt? those are the only 2 trans i would run thats out of town, hell PB is in Pa. flt is in Ill. i think, im on the gulfcoast been running the level 2 for 3 or 4 years now without issues!! oh yeah did i mention a 4l60e
putting down close to 500 to the wheels
but each there own truck really sounds great!!

Heard bad about both performabuilt and flt, plus the huge hassle of having to ship it and wait if I needed warranty work done. It just doesn't sound like something I want anything to do with.
