Denali vs 351 fox with 120 shot
#22
Sprayed him. Car would pull hard for maybe 2 seconds then loose power, looked at afr and it was 11.5, thought maybe to much timing. Later pulled plugs and 4 had no more tips. So i flow tested fuel pressure and fuel drops below 5 psi after a few seconds (carbureted car). Moral of story is combination of to much timing not enough pressure, has enough pressure for motor not nitrous. Recently bought a fuel pressure safety switch so if it falls below 5psi it will shut the nitrous off, I will test it later this week, to confirm. Chances are i need more pump

Wow, really? Wasn't gonna say anything untill i saw this, i just had to register. First off, I dont know any of those other guys in the chargers. Secondly stock short block 302, not 351 still has stock balancer, so no stroker. Heads, cam 100 shot. We raced twice, first time took off at the same time pulled him by three cars, he let off. Second time didnt hear any honking he got the hit still pulled him, and of course thats the only video he posted. Wheres the other vid?? Could have easily ran some more, but what was the point, and went over 125 mph both times as you can see in both vids. Hate to say it but spray was not working, come to find out my fuel pump went out and i burnt the tips off four plugs. LOL still pulled him with half a motor. We chit chatted after the race, seemed like a pretty cool guy. Told him everything i have, dont know why he would lie about it.
Really? So you outran a turbo'd Denali with only half the engine firing? I doubt that. Still a good race though. Ive raced H/C foxbody mustangs at the track, and they barely break into the 14s. even with DRs.

Im not hating on either side here, but it would seem some facts were not correct, when giving to the dude in the nali, I can not believe that
As for stangs not barley going 14's. A stock 5.0 with exhaust, 410's and decent tires will go that low 14's + all day. If the stang that ran the denali has heads, cam, is on a shot, it is a 12 sec car no doubt.. They weight what 2800 lbs.. I would like to see a dig race. Truck is still a beast giving it is as big as bus.. Just some misunderstanding
