I was a little worried how loud my truck was gonna be after re-building it and forgoing cats, resonators and mufflers. However after starting this thing up I'm happy to report that it idle's quite mellow for what it is, which is basically 4" DP with a 13" Bullet and straight out.

I've cleaned up some of the wiring since the video so it's not as ugly anymore, anywho here's and idle video and walk around.

Looks and sounds great! Turbos are good mufflers, does the exhaust split after the bullet?

Nice and throaty with manners. Gawd i love hearin that turbo spool.

Overall just a great looking well put together truck! Really dig the exhaust exit thru bed.

Also the exhaust looks too nice to be hidden underneath the truck!

 

Whats up with the speedometer coming up when you rev it?

 

He mentioned in his thread that there r some crossed wires somewhere. He's trying to track em' down.

 

Sounds great , but don't come anywhere near Santa Monica or west LA cause you will get pulled over for modified exhaust.

I was really worried about how loud it was gonna be for pretty much that exact reason. For the last 4 years I was running around with cut-outs so I had the ability to quiet the truck down if I saw cops or was in a well patrolled area. However considering how quiet it is at idle I'm not as worried about it anymore. Granted any cop with a baton up his **** is gonna know something up regardless of whether the truck is running or not since that ****'s coming out the bed sides, but at least I won't be giving them a reason to pull me over with how loud it is.
