To be honest I kind of expected to lose more off the bottom and pick up more of a mid range hit, but like i said, theres still a lot of work to do with the tune.
The cam is definitely softer below 2000 rpms. Gains are most noticable between 5000 and the shift point which is 6400 1-2 and 6300 2-3. I've run a Yank 3600 in the past with it, but took that out as I felt the 10.5" converter was a compromise in performance. In the interim while deciding on a different converter, I'm currently running the stock 4l80e converter and it works just fine with this cam.

I'm trying to nail down which converter I'm going to go with rigth now. At the top of my list at the moment is the Circle D 278mm 3000-3200. Do you have any suggestions?
What body style is your truck? 4x4 or 2wd? have you run it at the track?

I can't believe we have basically the same EXCACT set up (motor wise) and I never knew it.

Its an ecsb 2wd. It went 13.73 with the stock internal lq9 and yank pt 3600. I need some tires to make it worthwhile to track it with the cam, because thr above run was on street tires and abysmal 2.x 60'

I think that 3200 will work great. It will be a great combo for the street and should work well at the street.

Running a 220/226 .556 .570 on 114+4 in my LQ9 in sig. and it's very streetable, not much power loss down low, and pulls like a raped ape past 5000rpms. My best NA was 13.2~ on 2.2 60foot at 102mph. On a 125 shot I trapped 112mph same 60 foot, spun all the way down track and ran a 12.92. What's the lift on your cam if u don't mind?

Thats what I like to hear. I cant wait to really get this thing dialed in with my new intake/injectors and see what its all about. My lift is .597 .605 and this is on a 114 LSA. I'm running PAC 1518 springs.

I will definitely make it again before the season is out and I will let you know for sure. I will go up on a wednesday night because I couldnt believe how dead it was last time. I dont think I'll ever go up on a friday night again.

Thanks man, its spot on for what I asked for. Lope without being obnoxious at all. If I had a louder exhaust it would definitely be more noticable, but still not absurd. This truck is too nice for absurd... and its still a daily driver.
