I have a 4" stainless cat back on my truck. I set it up so I could leave the tailpipe out the back or take it off and still dumped over my axle. Which do you prefer?
This afternoon I am putting the tailpipe back on to see if it keeps some of the noise out of the truck since I am taking a road trip next weekend!!!!

its a full magnaflow stainless kit for duramax. I found them on sale locally about a year ago and picked one up! Its quiet but you hear a good bit of turbo. No raspy sound at all, just a deep throaty sound. I will see if I can get a video of it!

keep in mind I have the turbo on the truck, not really much drone. Just vibrates the bed sometimes when I lug the motor in overdrive at like 45-50. But its doesn't bother my 4 month old, so its really not that loud! I have a decibel meter I downloaded on my iphone for free to check it today and see on my way home! But I like for it to be quiet unless I get in it and then it needs to open up
Thanks, I think I do as well! I should have some more pics of it and a video when I do it!

The pipe under the bed will be a bit louder( resonate) under the bed.. I like the tip pointed strait out the side vs the angle though.. I vote do away with the pipe..

as it sits now there is no pipe
but the way the kit is made it only goes one way cause it is a catback for a diesel truck. Nobody anywhere close bends mandrel, esp not 4"
