everyone seems to be switching to the 03-06 tails... is it worth the money for the new harness(4 bulb) or just stick with the stock one??

I bought the harnesses for about $12 each at the time (discounted price), so for $24 it was worth it to me. You can mod the stock harnesses, or just plug off the holes for the bulbs (so that there's no H2O intrusion), but I like having the factory plug and play harnesses myself. When I sold my 99 tails, I sold them with the factory harnesses which I felt "sweetened" the deal for the member here who bought them from me.

Thanks bro, it's a PaceEdwards JackRabbit retractable tonneau, I've had it for about 10 years now and it's held up great. I was looking for something flush and this fit the bill. Water still gets in the bed though...I'm sure that I could seal it off better if I wanted to but...eh
