Drive shaft is getting dropped off on next Wednesday to get lengthened. Does it make any difference at all on how the truck runs if the drive shaft i have now is a bit heavier than the stock one?

it's almost the same as going from a light wheel/tire to the same height, but a more heavy wheel.

You can run what you have, but get your drive line angles checked, and the u-joints.

The u-joints are new and last time i checked it everything was in line and degree'ed right. Ill check it again though.

None the less its getting rebuilt next Wednesday.
