Yes, it should fit a reg cab no problem. Measurements are 22" long, 13"tall, at the widest part at the bottom is 14", and 10" wide after the little side pockets. I measured in my truck and yes, there is enough room width wise and length wise for it. You can paint it with any plastic paint whatever color you would like.
