hey guys i have an 03 silverado now with the 4.8 and i bought a 5.3 from a buddy with i think 2002 vette heads i am on a budget and want a pretty hot cam i was wondering what cam to run with the heads and what springs ...... and if maybe i could find them in a combo deal some where.... As well as i have a superchips programmer will this be enough to tune or will i need to go to a shop ? Thanks Tyler

search the 212/218 or tr220 both off the shelf proven 5.3 cams. go custom tune from sponsor>>> and do you already have CAI, long tube headers, and basic bolt ons? If not i would def. do those first before a cam.

 

Yeah cold air intake programmer 3200 stall 50 series flowmasters Im on the hunt for some ling tubes but this motor is in my garage Tryig to put it together I am interested in the tr224 ......And way is cai btw ?
