Default Rpm too low

My truck's cruising rpms(1,500-1,700 going 45) have been too low compared to how they use to be(900-1000 going 45). When I start it, it idles at around 200-300 and before it was 500-700.What could be the source to this problem?

Are you just going by the cluster??

They are known for going bad. If you have a scan tool or a tuner, I'd see what the computer is saying for rpm.

Because the truck couldn't keep itself alive at 200-300 rpm.

I'm going by the cluster but I'll take it to my tuner to see what's up
