Trying to find a truck locally - Calgary, AB
Hey all,
I'm new to the forum, joined up today because I am looking at getting another truck. Recently just sold one of my other vehicles and want to get into a 99-06 1500. I've had a few 88-98 trucks, and althought I love the look of them I would like an LS engine and would prefer to have a truck that came with one from the factory.
I've been scouring through Kijiji and Autotrader to no avail. I am looking for something very specific. Chev/GMC 99-06 Reg cab sportside, 4.8/5speed, 2WD. Mileage/Colour/Condtion(within reason) aren't really a factor as long as it is reflected in the price.
I was also hoping I might be able to find one in Alberta. Closest Canadian one I could find is in Ontario (I have had bad experiences rust wise with vehicles from out east in the past so I'm not too keen on it), and with the way the dollar exchange is I don't think it would be worth importing one from the US.
Not sure if anyone has a truck they might be selling, or any leads on one...but any help would be greatly appreciated. Looking to find something in the range of $5-12K. I'm sure this post would be best in the WTB section, however as a new member I can't post there and I am hoping to find a truck ASAP!
