There is no aftermarket for the stock rearend,Ita a new AAM design. I have the nissan rear end laying around and it already has a LS and 4.63 gears in it, Its also the perfect width. And last, It doesnt use C-clips and it is way stronger

 

I have a 00 Xtreme but it has taken a back seat to my newest addition being a 04 z71

Here is my truck...'94 Toyota, not much to look at, for now. (I'm a body shop manager)
It does have a 5.3 from an '01 Silverado, A4 trans, true duals and a few little mods. I bought it for a daily beater/shop project.
