Sorry for digging up an old thread but thought I would add in here to keep some solid info out here.

2000 reg cab short stepside bed, manual locks, windows, no cruise, power steering still. 2.2l, 5 speed, no ac, small supercharger setup (approx 35lbs total) 1/4 tank of gas. Step shaver kit. 2800-2850lbs, scale goes in increments of 50 and would go back and fourth. 3000 with me in it.

same truck iron block 4.8l, nv3500 about a half tank 3200lbs 3350 with me in it at 170.

My '02 Xtreme with regular cab, 4.3, 5 speed & 1/2 tank of fuel is 3499 lb.
It is loaded with power windows, mirrors, locks, air, cruise etc. so not trying to be light.

1982 S10 with LQ4 6.0 with 317 heads shaved a little and an Eaton M90 spinning so far past it's efficiency that it almost makes 4 psi of boost. it also has a 4L80, GM 8.5 inch rear end from a 2000 S10, aluminum radiator core support, gas tank in the back thats from a 2000 Blazer. Long tube headers with 4 mufflers. I wanted it quiet. electric power steering pump from a volvo.
