Default How much does your s10 weigh?

Im looking to drop some weight off my 95 S10, but i have no idea what they weigh. Anyone know? or if you have lightened yours up what did you get it down too?

I weighed mine earlier this year. It is a 97 2.2l 5M reg cab sport side. With spare in the bed, a few items in the bed, a sub box in the cab.

It weighed 3080#

damn 2800 might be possible after all i was thinking they were heavier for some reason....

Yea they are pretty light... i plan on weighing mine one day

2700 is my goal.

mine is a full interior 89 with no a/c or power steering and it weighed 2500 with no driver

I weighed my 00' 4.3 with spare, dufflebag of tools, half a tank, sub/amp and me at 3700. So mine was sitting at 3500. I think without that stuff 3200-3300 is doable. 3000 without A/C, heater and other immentities.

ive always heard the square bodys are lighter than the newer ones.

troo story. you can get the 1st gens down to 2500 pretty easily with an iron v8 in it.

the newer ones are heavier with all of the electronics, airbags and other crap. not a huge difference though. maybe 400 lbs and you get alot better styling IMO

full interior
all steel 355
working a/c
1/2 tank of fuel (20 gal tank)
and me (@ 200#'s)
=
3560 its a pig.
